Each February and August, the UCAR likes to recognize our outstanding members. Recipiants will receive a plaque the first year they receive the award and a rider with the year engraved on it each following year.
Good Neighbor Award
Applications due Tuesday, May 6th, 2008 The Good Neighbor Award seeks to recognize an outstanding REALTOR® who is actively engaged in a service organization. This award will be selected locally by the Awards committee and then sent to the NAR for national consideration. The NAR awards several candidates $10,000 grants to the foundation the recipient serves.
Distinguished Service
Applications due Friday, August 1st, 2008 The Distinguished Service Award is one of the highest awards the Association offers. It is intended to recognize great service to the Association on a long-term basis and NOT be viewed as an “end-of-career” or “lifetime” award. He or she shall have contributed a great amount of time, effort and imagination to the UCAR. They must have ten years consecutive service in the real estate industry. Please consider the activities over a lifetime for the Board, special projects etc.
RPAC Newspaper Publicity
RPAC donations of $500 or more contributed by August 1st, 2008. Those members who donate to RPAC in amounts of $500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000 etc will be published in the Daily Herald recognizing them as influential in protecting private property rights. (Please make checks payable to RPAC and bring them to the UCAR office so that you receive an immediate receipt.)
